Alternate List

All 9 seats are locked in — but seats can open up. If a seat goes unpaid and isn’t cured, it transfers with full points for $160, and the new holder is dealt in that same night. When a seat opens, players on this list get the call — first to accept and pay takes the seat.

  • Full-payment requirementThe WSOP packages and the 3rd-place prize each require that seat to be paid for all 11 months — by the original holder, a successor, or any combination.
  • Shortfall waterfallIf the pool ever comes up short, prizes reduce in order: final-tournament bonus first, then the 3rd-place prize, then the two packages equally.

POINTS & TIEBREAKERS

  • Points by finish1st = 9, 2nd = 8, 3rd = 7, 4th = 6, 5th = 5, 6th = 4, 7th = 3, 8th = 2, 9th = 1.
  • Short-handed monthsAttendees always score from the top down. Paid absentees get 1 point each.
  • Absent but paidPay your $80 by 6 PM on tournament day, take 1 point for the month.

  • Cure windowThe original holder can save the seat by paying $160 (missed + current month) by 6:00 PM on the next tournament day.
  • Miss the cure = transfer on the spotThe incoming player pays $160, inherits the seat’s FULL points, signs the Seat Succession block, and is dealt in that night.
  • Forfeit is totalA player who loses a seat has no claim to points, dues paid, pool money, prizes, or profit sharing.
